His name is <strong>Julen S\u00e1enz de Ormijana<\/strong>, and among his most notable achievements are the 1st place in the UCI BIKE TRIAL World Championship 2021 in the 26\u201d category and the 2nd place in the team category.<\/p>\n<p>Both Julen and his teammate <strong>Sergio Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong> (former World Champion in 2016 and a PhD in Engineering) saw the need to improve some aspects of their bicycles and proposed to us to shape the <strong>functional and maintenance improvements<\/strong> designed by Sergio. At SDT, we welcomed this proposal, pleased to have the opportunity to help our young athletes who are part of the Trial Bizikleta School.<\/p>\n<p>The first objective of these designs is to reduce the distance between the rear axle of the bicycle and the bottom bracket axle to be able to install a single pulley tensioner (instead of the two that are generally seen in this type of bike). The second objective is to improve the braking system with a more reliable and sealed piston system that avoids the need to bleed them too frequently.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you very much Julen and Sergio for counting on us, we wish you many successes in your professional careers!!<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, we would like to remind you that <strong>BIKE TRIAL<\/strong> is a minority sport in which it is very difficult to get sponsors, so we encourage you to collaborate with them as much as you can.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, we also encourage you to send us any queries <strong>to prototype or manufacture any type of parts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We want to mention a little-known cycling discipline called BIKE TRIAL, in which we have a world champion from Euskadi.
